Avesta was the result of a budget ornamental lamp project. The aim was to produce a visually appealing lamp whilst keeping production costs to a minimum.

The lights are a set of fairy lights from the 99p store held in place using a copper wire that was bent into shape by hand

The majority of the product is made from laser cut acrylic

The base was cut on the bandsaw and shaped by hand using a dremel, a slot was drilled in the center then cut via coping saw for the lamp to slot into alongside a small hole that was drilled for the wires to pass through.

The butterflies covers came with the fairy lights
